Line Throwing Trial Study

The ability to safely and effectively deploy a messenger line to a disabled oceangoing vessel is just as crucial as having a tug on hand that is capable of towing it. Last summer, the Prince William Sound Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council engaged Glosten to identify and rank best available technologies for this purpose.

Main Deck Placed Onto R/V Taani Super Module

Skagit County’s Guemes Island Ferry Granted Funding

We are so excited to share that Skagit County has secured funding from the Move Ahead WA Transportation package which will fund the Guemes Island Ferry Replacement Project through vessel delivery! The Glosten-designed vessel—slated to be the first zero-emission ferry on Puget Sound—can now move forward with soliciting bids for construction.
