WSF Releases Invitation for Bids for Jumbo Mark II Class Ferries

Washington State Ferries (WSF) is seeking proposals for the conversion of their largest ferry class from diesel to hybrid electric. Glosten supported Siemens’ design of the battery-hybrid propulsion system and provided preliminary and contract design services for the Jumbo Mark IIs, which will be the first ferries to undergo conversion.
