Glosten’s PelaStar recently joined hands with nine other offshore wind technology developers to form the Friends of Floating Offshore Wind (FoFOW). As a whole, the floating offshore wind industry faces a number of challenges on the road to commercialization. FoFOW aims to define the support requirements that will help developers overcome those challenges, and to communicate those requirements to the general public and relevant stakeholders. At FoFOW’s first meeting in May, the members agreed to focus their initial efforts on the governments in Scotland and Westminster. The members include:
