Regional Class, Fisheries

The Regional Class Fisheries research vessel design combines multi-disciplinary oceanography with demersal and midwater trawl capability. The vessel is optimized for very low underwater radiated noise and minimal bubble sweepdown while maintaining economic performance underway.

Deck and lab spaces are thoughtfully arranged with a focus on flexibility to accommodate both fisheries and general oceanography missions simultaneously. Reconfigurable labs maximize the utilization by a wide range of science stakeholders
