This 70-foot high-speed hybrid catamaran research platform features a spacious deckhouse forward with lecture style seating for 60 persons. The vessel has a spacious aft working deck with an articulating A-frame on the transom for overboard handing of scientific equipment.
High freeboard minimizes hull tunnel slamming and water ingress on deck, while stairs at each aft quarter lead down to dive platforms for easy water access for divers and scientific sampling. Forward, the raised foredeck enhances seakeeping and serves as the mounting point for the vessel’s remotely operated anchoring arrangement.
