Global Class

The Global Class multidisciplinary research vessel provides a high endurance research platform capable of operating worldwide in seasonal first year ice for 300 days per year.

It offers low underwater radiated noise performance, a unique hull form for low bubble sweepdown with low resistance, and dynamic positioning to Sea State 5. The design is optimized for long-endurance cruises with single staterooms and high bandwidth data transfer. The comprehensive science systems make it the most capable of all research vessel classes.
